See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

If you knew me from before…

Hey there, still following this blog, huh? Or maybe just stopping by after thinking “man, what has that bumbling dumpsterfire been up to?“ Odd, but I won’t question it. I mean, it’s nice you thought of me. It’s been a while, hasn’t it. A lot has changed, for the better and the worse. Just goes with getting older, I guess. I felt like writing this as a sort of catch-all for whoever out there remembers that I exist and what they might think of me. Not really like those thoughts affect much anymore, but it doesn’t hurt to try and communicate. To maybe even apologize. Fuck knows we all have things we regret.

I’ve seen this kind of thing before and a lot of them are full of random weird shit you’d never make…because of time constraints or like, it just sounds super gross.

But this one had a whole section that’s just “Things on Toast”. Another that was all about putting crap in your oatmeal to make it better. Those are fairly pedestrian and don’t take forever.

I haven’t looked through the whole thing yet but so far it’s actually pretty practical. Also if you’re broke like me and don’t know how to make Dal, you should get on that.

I also liked that there’s this at the beginning:

This book isn’t challenging you to live on so little; it’s a resource in case that’s your reality. In May 2014, there were 46 million Americans on food stamps. Untold millions more—in particular, retirees and students—live under similar constraints.

Been there. Done that. Advice on this art is always welcome.

The link above seems to be broken; here’s one that still works.

Idk. The way y'all treat trans women is awful but I don't have the wherewithal to address it properly. I'm tired.

I'm tired of being the butt of everyone's jokes. I'm tired of being talked about like I'm not here. I'm tired of being a political token. Tired of being under constant exacting scrutiny for no reason. Tired of being presumed guilty until proven innocent. Tired of being used as a cudgel to put down other trans people. I'm tired of having to constantly be on my very best behavior lest someone decide to ruin my life over some insignificant slight. And I'm tired, most of all, because the people who do all this stuff also surround themselves with legions of sycophants who'll constantly jerk them off about how good and woke and progressive they are and about how the big scary hysterical tranny is just being mean for no reason.

I'm tired. I just wanna play video games and read books about elves. I didn't sign up for whatever the fuck this is.

idk which young trans person needs to hear this but transmed ideology and the culture surrounding it is not helping you

man reading some of the tags under this post makes me so goddamn sad like im glad that so many of u escaped that circle and are happy where u are today but it sucks that this even exists as a potential threat to trans kids like... being miserable should not be an integral part of trans identity... if theres a billion trans ppl theres a billion ways to be trans and no one has or ever will have a patent on the "trans experience" (especially white ppl) i truly hope transmedicalism and "truscum culture" becomes less and less of an actual problem in the future

i think they should add a plot in the inevitable toy story 5 about the toys of an adult collector being happy w their life because they have social lives amongst themselves and they know their owner loves them even if the person doesn’t play pretend with them. it doesn’t even have to be a main character it can just be like a pit stop. the main toys are in there for 5 minutes and the care bear collection this person has is watching the sopranos while their owner is at work

i read the first part a little wrong and everything became so so much more fucked up dont mix up your adult collectors of toys with your adult toy collectors lest you get a scene with sentient dildos waddling up to Woody and the gang oh hey! your name is woody too?!
